Michael joined the Melaver-Mouchet team in 2005. He has an extended knowledge of the real estate business, and most recently worked with Binswanger, global real estate specialists in Atlanta, in the acquisition and disposition of large scale industrial buildings. Prior to that, he was doing estimating and project management for the interiors division of The Conlan Company. He is a graduate of The University of Georgia with a BA in Business and a major in Real Estate. Michael is a candidate member of the CCIM Institute. He is pursuing the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation conferred by the organization, and just received honors in passing of the Financial Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate, the first comprehensive exam in a series of four. The CCIM designation is awarded upon completion of a graduate-level curriculum and attainment of a level of qualifying experience.
Michael currently serves as Vice President of the local chapter of The Coastal Conservation Association, a member of Young Professionals of Savannah, University of Georgia Alumni Association, Kappa Alpha Order - the Savannah Alumni Chapter, the Commercial Council of the Savannah Board of Realtors, and the U.S. Green Building Council, Savannah Chapter. He is currently pursuing LEED accreditation.
